Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Emrooz ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Emrooz mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using Emrooz, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Emrooz. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

Certain features of Emrooz require you to create an account. You may register using your Google account or Apple ID. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that have been inactive for an extended period, or for any other reason at our sole discretion with reasonable notice where practicable.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Emrooz offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Plus" and "Pro"). Core features including prayer times, Qibla compass, and the basic calendar are and will remain free.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. By subscribing, you authorize the respective platform to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to premium features until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of price changes, and continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Free Trials: We may offer free trial periods for paid plans. At the end of a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

The Emrooz Booking Service allows users to create booking profiles and accept appointments. By using the Booking Service, you agree to the following additional terms:

Service Providers: If you create a booking profile to accept appointments, you are solely responsible for the services you offer, your professional qualifications, compliance with applicable regulations, and fulfillment of booked appointments.

Clients: When booking appointments, you agree to provide accurate information and to honor your appointments or cancel with reasonable notice.

Emrooz Role: Emrooz acts as a platform facilitating connections between service providers and clients. We are not a party to any service agreement between users and do not guarantee the quality or performance of any services booked through our platform.

Disputes: Any disputes arising from booked appointments are between the service provider and client. Emrooz is not responsible for resolving such disputes, though we may assist in providing information where appropriate.

You agree to use Emrooz only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content
• Abuse the family sharing features to harass other users
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage quotas or access controls

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Emrooz and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create within Emrooz (calendar events, notes, booking profiles, etc.). By using cloud sync features, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Feedback: If you provide us with feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use such feedback for any purpose, without any obligation to you.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Prayer Times and Religious Information: Prayer times and other religious information provided by Emrooz are calculated based on established astronomical and religious methods and your location. While we strive for accuracy, these should not be relied upon as the sole source for religious obligations. Please verify with local religious authorities when precision is critical.

AI Features: AI-generated content and responses are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Emrooz, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have not made any payments.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain warranties or liability for certain types of damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account within the app and ceasing to use the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or confidential information.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, through in-app notifications or email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
